This decision comes with the signing of a ten-year lease for 9,000 square feet of office space at the recently revamped Billiards Building on Edmund Street. The firm, listed on the FTSE 250, demonstrates its dedication to strengthening its presence by relocating from their current location at Interchange Place, also situated on Edmund Street, where they have been stationed since 2019.
Previously known as 134 Edmund Street, the Billiards Building, acquired by Grosvenor in 2021, has seen a remarkable £35 million renovation. It now offers 79,000 sq ft of grade A office space complete with modern amenities including a revamped reception area, a business lounge, café, gym, and yoga studio, as well as a communal roof terrace. The move aligns with a broader trend in corporate real estate prioritizing both quality and sustainability, as noted by Theo Holmes, Senior Director and Head of Office Agency at CBRE in Birmingham.
Commercial property experts, including those from CBRE, JLL, and LSH, were involved in brokering this lease agreement.
