Victoria’s Secret is poised to unveil its new store concept within Glasgow Fort, scheduled for an autumn 2024 opening. The 5,620 sq ft store marks the brand’s second standalone location in Scotland. The partnership between Victoria’s Secret group owner L Brands and high street retailer Next plays a pivotal role in the operation of all Victoria’s Secret outlets in the UK and Ireland. This collaboration includes overseeing 18 standalone stores across the UK as well as six shop-in-shops within Next’s establishments.
The signing of Victoria’s Secret is a significant addition to Glasgow Fort’s retail portfolio, which has successfully executed 24 new store leases over the past year. Other notable brands joining the centre include Mango, Primark, Adidas, and Zara, with Zara opening its largest store in Scotland earlier in March.
Glasgow Fort recorded an unprecedented footfall of 16 million visitors in 2023, indicating its thriving retail environment. This substantial visitor count underscores the strategic decision by Victoria’s Secret to establish its latest store in such a bustling location.
