Umar Kamani and Naomi Campbell have embarked on a new venture with the launch of KC Global Partnerships, a talent and partnerships agency based in Dubai. This strategic move aims to strengthen and facilitate collaborations among talents, brands, and celebrities, leveraging Dubai’s position as a prominent global hub.
At the helm of this initiative are two experienced directors. Amy Simon, who has an extensive background as the global head of PR and talent at PrettyLittleThing, will drive brand collaborations in the Middle East. Her prior experience in launching PrettyLittleThing in significant markets like the United States and France underscores her capability in this new role. Sufeena Hussain, with over two decades of brand strategy experience in the Middle East and North Africa, will serve as partnerships director. Her leadership at PrettyLittleThing from 2020 to 2023 further complements the agency’s strategic vision.
The announcement coincides with Kamani’s recent return to PrettyLittleThing. Having stepped down as CEO in 2023, Kamani declared intentions to reconnect with customers and enhance the brand’s offerings, including reintroducing free returns for loyalty members. This return signals his commitment to nurturing meaningful customer relationships and refining service offerings.
Naomi Campbell emphasized the significance of Dubai as a conducive environment for fostering innovation and successful collaborations, reflecting on the impactful relationships she has cultivated over her career. Kamani echoed similar sentiments, envisioning the platform as a means to create substantial value through genuine and enduring partnerships.
The launch of KC Global Partnerships signals a promising venture aiming to redefine collaboration within the industry.
