With early adopters such as One Stop, the company is digitising the whole grocery process, enabling retailers to manage orders and catalogues centrally while tracking real-time sales performance. This digital transformation in operations has been pivotal for One Stop, which now provides a consistent shopping experience across more than 800 stores.
One Stop has experienced significant operational enhancements upon the adoption of Deliverect Retail. By centralising its on-demand delivery operations, the retailer has doubled its weekly sales. The technology supports an increase in product offerings from 500 to over 3,000 Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), thereby expanding consumer choice and boosting sales conversions.
In addition to the broadening of product range, One Stop has achieved a 30% improvement in order accuracy, reducing discrepancies and enhancing customer satisfaction. This increased efficiency and enriched customer experience have contributed to a 57% rise in customer retention rates, speaking volumes about the impact of streamlined digital operations.
Tim Josephs, Head of Online at One Stop, remarks on the “outstanding results” since the deployment of Deliverect Retail. He highlights the growth in sales and conversion rates driven by an expanded product range and improved pick accuracy, anticipating continued improvements in these metrics.
Joe Heather, Deliverect’s Regional General Manager for Northern Europe, notes that the shift towards online grocery shopping, expedited by the pandemic, provides a captive audience for convenience stores. However, he stresses that enhancements in the digital shopping experience are crucial for increasing sales and sustaining customer engagement.
