Tesco has recently unveiled its inaugural Finest Steakhouse range, poised to elevate home dining with gourmet steak options. The introduction will see a dedicated fixture in over 150 stores across England and Wales, offering a variety of steak options to consumers. The range encompasses 23 new products, including both single and sharing steaks, alternative mains, luxurious sides, as well as sauces and butters designed to replicate a high-end restaurant experience.
Among the highlights are premium cut sharing steaks such as the T-bone, bone-on sirloin, Flat Iron, and Cote du Boeuf. Single steak options include aged rump, sirloin, ribeye, and thick-cut fillet. All steaks are sourced from British Aberdeen Angus cattle, dry-aged for up to 35 days, and meticulously hand-trimmed by expert butchers, ensuring a superior quality product.
In addition to steaks, the range includes alternative mains such as Wagyu burgers, duck breast supremes, slow-cooked Ossobuco, pork belly, and smoky beef ribs. Each of these offerings are paired with premium sides like triple cooked chips, rarebit dauphinoise potatoes, and truffle mac & cheese. The range is further complemented by steak sauces and butters, including the luxurious truffle butter with cracked black pepper.
Tesco’s commitment to quality is evident in the packaging, which is made from high-quality cardboard and includes informative content such as wine pairings, chef’s tips, and cooking instructions with meat thermometer guides. This comprehensive approach is designed to assist customers in creating a restaurant-quality meal at home.
Matt Kay, Tesco’s group brand director, expressed excitement over the new range. He stated, “Our customers love finding ways to treat themselves at home and Tesco Finest showcases our best quality ingredients, pulled together by our expert teams and suppliers to create something truly special.”
The introduction of Tesco’s Finest Steakhouse Range signifies a significant enhancement in home dining experiences, making gourmet meals accessible to all.
