Russell & Bromley, a distinguished British footwear brand with a history spanning over 140 years, has announced the appointment of Daniel Beardsworth-Shaw as their new creative director. Beardsworth-Shaw’s extensive experience in design leadership roles positions him as a valuable asset in steering the brand’s creative vision.
Beardsworth-Shaw commenced his career in 2011 as an in-house production manager with fashion designer Christopher Raeburn. Over time, he ascended to the role of design manager at Raeburn, before transitioning to Hunter Boots in 2017, where he served as design director. His most recent tenure was as vice-president of design at Sweaty Betty, an activewear brand, from June 2021 to February 2022.
Before joining Russell & Bromley, Beardsworth-Shaw was the design director at Accessorize, where he managed all design categories including jewellery, clothing, and prints, until his departure in March 2024. His comprehensive design portfolio underscores his capability to lead and innovate within established brands.
In his new role, Beardsworth-Shaw will be responsible for guiding Russell & Bromley’s product design and its overarching visual brand identity, directly collaborating with CEO Andrew Bromley.
