Rixo, a British womenswear brand, is making a strategic move by transforming its New York City pop-up store into a permanent retail venue. This development was confirmed on 28 August, marking a significant milestone for Rixo in expanding its US footprint.
Situated at 19 Prince Street in Manhattan, the store originally opened on 22 April under a three-month lease. Measuring approximately 1,000 square feet, this pop-up was Rixo’s inaugural brick-and-mortar presence in the United States.
The store’s remarkable impact is reflected in the 174% year-on-year increase in direct-to-consumer sales in the US since August 2023. This substantial growth underscores the brand’s successful market penetration and growing consumer base.
Henrietta Rix, Rixo’s CEO and co-founder, articulated her enthusiasm about solidifying the brand’s presence in New York. Through a statement, she emphasised their aim to foster deeper connections within the community that has been built over the past nine years.
