The app, now accessible via both Google Play and Apple App stores, offers a compelling rewards system to customers. Users can accumulate ‘perk points’ with each purchase, which can later be exchanged for digital reward vouchers redeemable in-store or online. Additionally, customers will regularly find over 100 Perks offers on diverse products within the app, ensuring a constantly refreshed shopping experience.
This development follows a successful pilot phase that clearly indicated customer approval and enthusiasm. Poundland digital director, Tom Hill, remarked, “Today’s a really important day for our customers as we open up a new digital world that gives them the chance to save, earn, and play through their smartphone, making shopping with us even more fun, and even more amazing value – whether in-store or online.”
The widespread acceptance is evident as the app has already attracted over half a million users, underlining its substantial appeal and the efficiency of Poundland’s digital strategy.
