Sergio Rossi, an esteemed name in luxury footwear, has appointed Paul Andrew as its new Creative Director. This move marks a significant addition to the brand’s leadership team and is expected to bolster its design prowess and market influence.
Paul Andrew’s career is punctuated by notable achievements in the fashion industry. His journey began at the Berkshire College of Art and Design, culminating in his first collection’s showcase at London’s Graduate Fashion Week in 1999. Andrew’s career trajectory took a significant leap when he launched his own footwear brand in 2013. The following year, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and Vogue Fashion Fund recognised his talent, awarding him the main prize of $300,000 (£232,000).
Andrew’s professional tenure includes a pivotal role at Salvatore Ferragamo. He joined the Italian luxury fashion house in 2016 as the design director for women’s shoes. By 2019, he had ascended to the role of creative director across all product categories, a position previously held by the brand’s founder until 1960. His departure from Ferragamo in 2022 allowed him to refocus on his own brand.

She noted, “[Andrew] is admired across the world… [and] brings a deep respect for our brand heritage, an instinctive understanding of our diverse audiences, and vibrant creativity.”
The appointment coincides with a period of revenue growth for Sergio Rossi. Under the ownership of the Lanvin Group, the brand reported a 1% year-on-year increase in revenue, reaching €426m (£364m) for 2023. This financial upturn reflects the brand’s enduring allure and expanding footprint in the luxury market.
