Following the successful launch of ten third-party brands in December 2023 and another 17 in April, Matalan continues to solidify its position in the market with this latest expansion. The strategy reflects customer preference for increased choice and is tailored to attract a diverse clientele.
The recent brand additions span across multiple categories, including notable womenswear brands like AX Paris, Urban Bliss, and Gini London. In the menswear segment, distinguished brands such as French Connection, Tokyo Laundry, Crosshatch, and Duck & Cove have joined the roster.
Moreover, the retailer has expanded its homeware lineup with new brands like ValueLights, RU Comfy, and Asiatic Rugs. Additionally, nursery lines have been enriched with the inclusion of Hauck and Ickle Bubba, offering consumers a wider selection for home and family needs.
