Isabel Marant has announced a strategic collaboration with Vestiaire Collective, aimed at offering customers a unique selection of pre-loved fashion pieces. This collaboration marks the launch of an online shop featuring vintage items from both the Isabel Marant and Isabel Marant Etoile lines. Customers can explore a range of accessories, shoes, and 15 exclusive runway looks from the past decade, meticulously selected by Isabel Marant herself.
This endeavour is an extension of the Isabel Marant Vintage initiative, which was initially launched in partnership with Faume—a Paris-based platform specialising in the logistics of second-hand sales for brands. The initiative underscores Isabel Marant’s commitment to promoting sustainability and extending the life of its fashion pieces, an approach the designer describes as the ‘ecology of clothing’.
The collaboration with Vestiaire Collective aligns with the resale platform’s mission to foster a circular economy in fashion. This is achieved by partnering with leading luxury brands to promote the idea of timeless fashion and durable, sustainable pieces. “Isabel Marant embodies a highly recognisable lifestyle and a free-spirited personality,” commented Sophie Hersan, co-founder and fashion director at Vestiaire Collective. “Her timelessness and modernity triumph with each collection. Vestiaire Collective is thrilled with this partnership, which encourages ever greater circularity and sustainability in fashion.”
The collaboration between Isabel Marant and Vestiaire Collective exemplifies a shared commitment to sustainability and the promotion of a circular fashion economy.
