Frasers Group has inaugurated a 100,000 square foot flagship store at Meadowhall, Sheffield. The expansive department store covers two floors and is a key part of the group’s strategy to phase out the House of Fraser brand, offering a wide array of products across various categories.
The first floor of the store is dedicated to men’s, women’s, and children’s fashion, beauty, footwear, and homeware, featuring brands such as Ganni, Rains, and Nobody’s Child. In addition, it houses renowned shoe and accessory labels including Ugg, Longchamp, and Coach. Notably, the store’s beauty hall hosts both emerging and well-established beauty, hair, and fragrance names like Creed, Clarins, and ghd.
Highlighting its largest Frasers Home concept to date, the Meadowhall store integrates specialist homeware brands, underpinned by the group’s Sofa.com business. At the store’s entrance, a partnership with Pret-a-Manger offers a convenient food-to-go option for visitors.
On the second floor, the focus shifts to athletic apparel and equipment through the Sports Direct brand, spanning an impressive 55,000 square feet. This area features prominent sports labels such as Nike, Under Armour, adidas, Asics, and Puma. Additionally, it includes the Evans Cycles store with a fully operational bike workshop, offering a comprehensive selection of bicycles, parts, and accessories.
An array of innovative elements are present at the store, including Sports Direct’s new outdoor concept and a running section with a gait analysis machine, designed to enhance the customer’s shopping experience. Further, the new Nike Football department marks its second launch following the success of its introduction at the London flagship store.
