Ghost, the renowned womenswear brand, is diversifying its product line by introducing three new categories—denim, knitwear, and outerwear—exclusively for the autumn/winter 2024 season. This strategic expansion complements Ghost’s existing offerings, including their signature satin slip dresses and workwear collections.
The initial rollout of these new categories will be available online via Ghost’s direct-to-consumer platform starting late July to early August. Pricing is set to range between £89 and £149 for denim, while knitwear will be available between £69 and £129. Sameera Azeem, Ghost’s creative director, shared that the pricing and designs aim to provide an effortless, everyday look that aligns with the brand’s aesthetic of ‘feminine, with a touch of modern bohemian.’
As part of the autumn launch, the denim collection features items such as navy blue flared jeans, while the knitwear range includes lightweight wool-blend camisoles and matching cardigans designed for layering. Azeem emphasised that the introduction of these categories would create more cohesive styling options that integrate seamlessly with Ghost’s existing collections.
The outerwear line, which is set to debut later in the autumn season, will offer additional layering possibilities to accommodate colder weather. Retail prices for these items will start at £185 for a jacket and extend up to £225 for a long-line maxi coat, tailored for a sleek and elegant silhouette.
Ghost was founded in 1984 by designer Tanya Sarne and celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Since 2002, the brand has been under the ownership of Touker Suleyman, who has supported its expansion and sustained relevance in the fashion world.
Ghost’s strategic expansion into new clothing categories reflects its commitment to timeless fashion and adaptability in an evolving market.
