Asda has strategically recruited two new senior leaders to bolster its growth ambitions for 2025.

Asda has announced the appointment of two seasoned professionals to senior leadership roles as part of its strategy to drive growth by 2025. Lauren Lepley, who has an impressive track record in the grocery sector with more than 14 years of experience, will join the supermarket from December. Her previous roles at Tesco and Morrisons underscore her expertise in central operations, which is expected to be instrumental in advancing Asda’s objectives.
Mark Henry, with over 25 years of operational experience, will take up the position of vice president for retail south. Having most recently served as group director of asset protection at M&S, Henry brings a wealth of knowledge in operational management and strategic planning. His tenure at M&S has equipped him with the insights necessary for overseeing Asda’s southern store operations from January.
Both Lepley and Henry will directly report to Matt Heslop, another new addition to Asda’s leadership, who assumes the role of chief operations officer in January.
