Amazon and Morrisons have taken a significant step forward in their partnership by integrating the Morrisons More Points loyalty scheme into purchases made on Amazon.co.uk. This development allows customers to amass loyalty points which they can later redeem at Morrisons as More Card Fivers, usable both in-store and online.
To celebrate this integration, customers are offered enticing promotional benefits. For every qualifying Morrisons product bought on Amazon, shoppers will earn five additional points. Moreover, a special reward of 500 points is available to those who register their loyalty account and spend a minimum of £70 in a single order during the initial fortnight post-registration.
In addition to loyalty rewards, the initiative includes the introduction of a ‘Grocery Day’. This feature allows customers to schedule a weekly delivery with a pre-filled basket, offering a streamlined shopping process. Another enhancement includes a delivery pre-reservation feature, enabling customers secure delivery slots up to 60 minutes in advance.
Amazon’s director of grocery partnerships worldwide, Russell Jones, emphasised the commitment to providing customers with value. He stated, “We are committed to investing in ways for customers to get the best value for their weekly shop, and the integration of More Points to Morrisons on Amazon is a great new way for customers to be rewarded while getting their same-day grocery deliveries.”
Morrisons online director, Charlotte Exell, expressed excitement about these developments, highlighting the added value for loyalty shoppers: “We’re thrilled that customers can now earn More Card Points on their groceries as part of our Morrisons on Amazon service. The new launch is an important step in our mission to provide even more value and flexibility for our loyalty shoppers.”
The expansion of the Amazon-Morrisons partnership underscores the companies’ commitment to enhancing loyalty benefits and the user shopping experience.
